happy 9th month birthday Vaness

3 months more to go an my little baby wont be so little anymore।Sometimes I would wish she's bigger already but sometimes it still feel good when they were little and just always cuddly।Towards her 9th month shelearned how to pull herself up,crawl,bubble more baby words and her communication skill has become more understandable।Like when she wants me to pat her back so that she can fall back off to sleep.She will pat herself in the chest and look at me with the intent that I will understand what she meant.I recently bought her plenty of winter clothes and since she was younger I would let her pick what she wants to wear by showing her 2 items and ask her which one she want.Now she knows that thats what I'm doing.The moment I bring 2 pair of clothing in front of her she will touch one of them.I dont necessarily make her wear what she touched but I want her to understand that she has a freedom to choose.I just read that somewhere and it seems to work.They said that it is a way of letting your child learn that they also have control over some things.

Sleep my darling baby

Sleeping during the day time had always been a challenge to me since vaness is born।She would never fall to sleep on her own unless she is fed,rocked,or in the car seat.I still dont understand why because I have put her in a routine at night which is eat,bath,massage,read,feed then I lay her down to her crib and she falls off to sleep on her own.But day time is a different story.She will only nap for 25 minutes if she is alone in bed or 45minutes to an hour if I lay down with her.I already bought her all things possible to make her stay asleep.A blankie,a plush toy to hug,a CD that emits the noise of a blow dryer(this works for her at night though).

AFter night months of dealing with all this slumber problem.I am so looking forward to her becoming a big girl who wont wake up until you pinch them on their side.hahaha.that picture up there is very memorable for me hehehe because it is the first time she actually fell off to dreamland on her own.

@ pumpkin patch

It was a very nice California day when we decided to bring vanessa to the pumpkin patch।I remember having such a hard time finding a parking since it was a weekend.So we got there and bought some ticket for the rides.It bet it was very exciting for her because of the presence of children who also came by to pick there pumpkin for the halloween.Joel took her to the merry go round and rode on on of those tiny boats.Those we're the 2 rides that she can get on.All the others have height requirement.

time flies so fast

Its been quite an adventure when Vanessa turned 7 months.She started rolling over both ways.She also discovered that she can't just make a sound but she can also scream.SO her screaming has been part of our daily life be it in the market or in the car.She also had her first accident.One morning Joel couldn't find his glasses and he is running late for work.I run out of Vanessa's room to help him find it.Leaving her in bed with pillows surrounding her.After a minute or 2 I run back to her bedroom with her loudest scream and finding her in the floor.I was so scared and promised myself I will never leave her in bed no matter what the circumstances are.She also learned to crab crawl to reach out for things that she wants.Its been fun so far.

Facts Before Vanessa Arrived into this World

I found out I was pregnant-on fathers day of 2006 almost 3 months after Vaness was
conceived.

The doctor told me that my due date was-January 20,2007, She's born 8 days late.

We decided to tell the news to-grandma,Joel sister,Jane Mcneeley,Wilmyn,Kitkit,David
Haldane

After the news was out,we decided to celebrate by-Going to the caribbean...actually we
already got the tickets before we knew that we were on family way.So we went and
so did vaness.She made me throw up everyday during the cruise.

Most interesting fact before Vaness showed up into the world-Joel wasnt so happy about my getting pregnant.He was excited about retiring because we can start travelling more to other countries.he thought Vanessa will be hindrance for us to do that.

Vanessa has 2 older sisters-their names are Jessica and Melissa.

While I was pregnant,I gained-52 lbs..

We first heard her heartbeat-the second time we went to our doctor.I was 16 weeks
pregnant.

We had 2 baby showers-one at our house and another one at Joel's school.

Some not so good part about my pregnancy-severe nausea,headache everyday,vomiting to
the max,backpain,too much swelling of my ankles.

What I like about my pregnancy-Joel eventually loved the thought of having a baby,I dont have to cook dinner,I wasnt expected to clean the house,my friends always make me eat,Vanessa is moving a lot ,i cant wait to see her.
